In Case of Rapture

"In Case Of Rapture" is the title given to the second episode (aired in 2004) in season four of the HBO show Six Feet Under which chronicles the lives and events surrounding a Los Angeles family run funeral home.The title refers to the events leading up to the death of a 49 year old Christian woman Dorothy Sheedy who is struck by a car after running into the road having believed that she was witnessing the rapture. What she actually saw was the effect of dozens of poorly secured helium filled sex dolls which had accidentally been released from the back of a truck. Mrs Sheedy's own vehicle which she had abandoned had a bumper sticker which read "I BREAK FOR THE RAPTURE"
