Mainly, it needs to be copyedited for tone; not that colonisation is good, but is overly critical in a biased way.

The article in general suffers from erratic linking.

I've edited to standard english, and removed all the links to countries; it still feels a bit overcrowded. --Victor falk 02:57, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
