This is not only POV, it's thoroughly incorrect. There have been whole books published in sans-serif fonts; as a matter of fact, the Wikipedia itself is entirely in sans-serif fonts! 161.11.130.249 16:41, 24 March 2006 (UTC)

The rules switch for on-screen fonts because serifs make letters look cluttered when displayed in pixel form. No one said that no one could ever use sans serif fonts for body text, but people generally acknowledge that serif fonts are more legible in print.
