Ilsa J. Bick

Ilsa J. Bick is a science fiction author primarily known for her Star Trek novels and short stories, which began with publication in the Strange New Worlds anthology series. Her first Star Trek novel, Well of Souls, became a 2003 Barnes & Noble bestseller.

In addition to her Star Trek books, she has written several novels for the MechWarrior: Dark Age franchise. She has also published a number of short stories in various magazines and collections.

Before she became a successful author, Bick was a child and forensic psychiatrist. She currently lives in Wisconsin with her family and cats.
