This internal Wikipedia page is within the scope of the Illustrated Wikipedia WikiProject, a collaborative effort to coordinate the use of cartoons specially created for Wikipedia. If you would like to participate, you can visit the project page, where you can join the project and see a list of open tasks.

WikiProject WikiWorld exists to coordinate the use of cartoons specially created for Wikipedia. This template is to be added to the appropriate articles to provide an unobtrusive link to the relevant cartoon.

[edit] Usage

During the week that the article is featured in The Signpost, place the template near the top of the article. Once the week is over, move it to its normal place: like all other self-referential WikiMedia Foundation project templates, this is in the "External links" section of the article. The syntax of the template is {{Illustrated Wikipedia|Filename_of_image.jpg}}: note the lack of Image: prefix. Do not subst the template; the example image shown here will be auto-replaced by the image specified as the template parameter.
