[edit] 54 - 38 = 16, not 30

I have no idea about the actual marriage statistics of the 1st congressional district of Illinois, or of the US in general, but I edited the sentence which said that 38 percent was "approximately 30 percent below the national average of 54.4 percent." Unless there's some principle of statistics I'm not aware of, the difference should surely be "approximately 16," not 30.Frankenstrudel (talk) 00:26, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

It's not a difference of 30%, but rather a 30% reduction. (54% reduced by 30% is 38%.) MisfitToys (talk) 01:34, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
