ILC Dover's LTA (Lighter-Than-Air) manufacturing group is the sole developer and producer of the modern Zepplin NT airship's envelope based out of Germany, Japan, and South Africa. As of 2008, there are four Zepplin NTs' produced. In September 2007, the South African airship owned by DeBeers, a large supplier of the worlds diamonds, was severely damaged by a wind storm and was deemed a total loss by DeBeers and ILC Dover. the other two airships are flying out of Germany and Japan. The fourth airship is currently under final assembly in Germany as of March 2008. ILC manufactured the envelope in 2007 and shipped it to Germany for final assembly onto the inter framework. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.162.240.17 (talk) 02:00, 9 March 2008 (UTC)
