Ilê Pérola Negra (English: Island of Black Pearls) is the third track from the album Sol da Liberdade by Daniela Mercury. It is a celebration of the African cultural influence in Bahia, which is Mercury's native state. The instrumentation features carnaval drums being played in the Axé music style. The song became a smash single on the Hot100Brasil chart in 2000.
Several Bahian cultural aspects are celebrated in the video for the song, including capoeira and Candomble.
