[edit] Spelling

English is not my native language, so can please someone check this article and correct the wrong spelling and/or grammar? DaMatriX 16:22, 23 April 2006 (UTC)

Don't know if your request is still current, but as I am restructuring the article, I'll comb through syntax, grammar and spelling as I progress. -- Curt Woyte 11:01, 22 June 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Tourist & historical information

A short section with some tourist information would be useful. E.g. cycle routes, such as the Ijselldijk between Deventer and Hattem, historical towns of interest, riverside nature reserves such as the one at Hexsel, etc. Also something of the human history of the river would be useful -- settlements, history of the construction of the dykes and canal network fed by the river, & the Ijsell's role as a trade route of the Hanseatic league (the Zutphen-Deventer-Hattem-Zwolle Ijsell towns), etc. --Theranos 19:21, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
