IIB Bank PLC is one of the leading non-retail banks in Ireland with offices in Dublin, Cork, Galway and Belfast.
It was established in 1973 as Irish Intercontinental Bank and has been a subsidiary of KBC Bank, which is headquartered in Brussels. When KBC acquired a full 100% shareholding in IIB in 2000, the bank's name was changed to its present one.
IIB provides a wide range of banking services including Corporate and Business Banking, Private Banking and Treasury & Capital Markets. Its mortgage division, IIB Homeloans, is a leading mortgage provider in Ireland.
