IHaveAFatDog is the commonly-used username of a certain person who lives in The United States of America.

The username was first used on an Internet forum on April 5th, 2006. IHaveAFatDog decided to sign up for a video game forum when their brother (who was a member of the same forum) moved out of the house. IHaveAFatDog was having trouble picking out a username; a problem they frequently encounter. After many failed attempts at finding a username, they decided to look out into the yard and beheld their overweight canine. It was then obvious that the new name would be "IHaveAFatDog," since IHaveAFatDog did not know if the forum permitted names with spaces.

IHaveAFatDog's inspiration came from an overweight Chihuahua they own. His weight has marginally fluctuated since the username's creation, but not enough to make the username invalid. If the Chihuahua's weight does make the username invalid, IHaveAFatDog has another Chihuahua well on its way to becoming a butterball.

Since then, IHaveAFatDog has been used in E-mail addresses and other web sites, with slight variations ("IHaveAVeryFatDog," etc.). The username has since become a major part of IHaveAFatDog.

The general reception of IHaveAFatDog's username is positive, with only a few mocking the choice. IHaveAFatDog likes the username and has no plans of changing it in the near future.
