Igawa Mitsunobu (飯川光誠?) (?-?) was a retainer beneath the Hatakeyama of Noto province throughout the latter Sengoku Period of Feudal Japan. When the chief retainers of the Hatakayama had initially forced Hatakeyama Yoshitsugu to retire in favor of his son, Yoshitsuna, within the year of 1551, Mitsunobu emerged as a respective ally to both contenders. By the time at which Yoshitsuna's succession became absolute, seven members of the senior retainer class would be delegated an especial authority that allowed them to wield control over the province behind Yoshitsuna; and after one member had died, Mitsunobu became the seventh figurehead to this group. By the year of 1555, the Hatakeyama had restored a moderate sum of their authority out of consequence to Mitsunobu's contributions as an administrator of noted ability. He became a monk in 1572, taking the name Wakasa nyūdō Sōgen (若狭入道宗玄?). Beyond this, the rest of his life remains obscure.
