"If You Can't Say No" was the first single from the album 5 by Lenny Kravitz. The song was written by Kravitz and reached the Top 40 on the Billboard Mainstream Rock Chart and hit the #48 in the UK Charts. Dance producer Brian Transeau remixed the track. All Instruments were performed by Kravitz.

The music video for this song was directed by Mark Romanek. It consists of Kravitz performing in a futuristic blue room, while he is being iluminated by a floating lamp. Supermodel/actress Milla Jovovich made a notable appearance in the video as Lenny's girlfriend. The music video won an award for Best Art Direction at the 8th Annual MVPA Awards in 1999.
