IEC TC 56 - Dependability

IEC TC 56 is the Technical Committee of the International Electrotechnical Commission responsible for developing and maintaining International Standards in the field of dependability.
DEPENDABILITY covers availability performance and its influencing factors: reliability, maintainability and maintenance support (including management of obsolescence).
The standards produced by IEC TC 56 provide systematic methods and tools for dependability assessment and management of equipment, services and systems throughout their life cycles.
