Idris Barzani

Idris Barzani (? - January 31, 1987) was a Kurdish politician in Iraq. He was the son of late Mustafa Barzani, a well-known Kurdish figure, and the father of Nechervan Idris Barzani. His brother Mesud Barzani is the current president of Iraqi Kurdistan. He himself was often on diplomatic trips for the KDP. He was famous and well-liked among Peshmerga forces for his bravery, generosity and friendliness.^[who?] He died on January 31, 1987, of a heart attack.
