[edit] Authorship
A few points:
- Articles in the (Main) namespace are never signed (see ownership of articles). The article's edit history and the "diff" reports to which it links give minute details of who did what to the article.
- Get yourself a user Id (if you don't have one) and always log in before editing.
- You do not sign articles but when contributing to talk pages, you should always sign using ~~~~.
- Never, ever create false signatures such as:
- [[User:mohamed|Ide03144173]] - actually 69.79.117.54
- [[User:Roberto|Ide0317291,0317297,0314306]] - actually 72.252.41.118
- These could be taken as impersonation - luckily we don't have real users with these names.

[edit] Galileo
I repeat: you do not sign article edits. But in the case of this article, I am happy to record here that just about all the edits to date have been done by:
- students of the class: Protocolos3 at Galileo University, Guatemala City.
In addition to the two anon's noted above, the class includes:
I do get annoyed at student projects that do not announce themselves. So all praise to you for saying who you are. It is just that you were doing it in the wrong place! -- RHaworth 04:09, 27 May 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Obsoleted and other ICMP types
Aren't the types #130 to #132 obsolete ? They belong to an obsoleted version of the specs (RFC 1885), so I guess they are (and the article should be edited consequently). Also, there seems to exist some more ICMPv6 message types (see here for instance), and it may be a good thing to update the article in that way (my IPv6 knowledge isn't big enough for me to do it). 83.202.8.19 (talk) 14:56, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
