[edit] NPOV: GMO hysteria

Looks for me like this article mostly takes a pro-GMO stance, especially visible in the paragraph beginning with the "GMO hysteria of today". -- 84.159.178.177 15:01, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

I agree. Not compliant with WP:NPOV IgorW 15:53, 18 February 2007 (UTC)
I took out the "GMO hysteria" clause. I think that leaves it fairly balanced. Foreclosers 16:39, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

== Criticism ==

Is anyone actually claiming that ice-minus variant of an existing bacterium will kill other species? I can't see how having it uncontrollably eliminate the ice-plus variant would do anything but prevent frost destroying crops. -- Beland 16:18, 3 April 2007 (UTC)

You never know what will happen. Pushing the growing season length:latitude gradient northward effects herbivores that eat it, which messes up the predators, which messes up the eccosystem. I imagine more change at the warmward edge of the range. How's an increased range and unfair competitive advantage supposed to be good for the area?
