Ian Hillier is a Welsh footballer. A Welsh under-21 international, Hillier began his professional career at Tottenham Hotspur before joining Luton Town and making 56 league appearances. He had a spell on loan at Chester City before joining Newport County in the summer of 2005. Hillier made his debut for the Wales semi-professional international team in May 2007.

At one point Ian Hillier held the record for world longest throw-in,[citation needed] his throw was often used much like a corner and would surprise the other team.
