Talk:Iambic inc
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Obviously anyone naming a company "iambic" intends the name to remind people of iambic meter used in poetry. That is the principal meaning of the term. Accordingly I have moved this page from iambic (which I have now made into a redirect to iamb) to iambic (software vendor). I will now start fixing links to the disambiguation page. I suspect (I haven't counted yet) that most of them will link to iamb, not to iambic (software vendor). Michael Hardy 15:47, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
...OK, now I've looked and there are more than fifty links to iambic, quite likely ALL of them appropriately redirected to iamb and not one to iambic (software vendor).
How in the world does something like that escape the notice of someone who writes an article titled iambic about a software vendor rather than about the thing that the word iambic principally refers to? Where is common sense? Michael Hardy 15:55, 14 October 2007 (UTC)
