"I Won't Hold You Back" is a ballad by the American pop-rock band Toto, written by Steve Lukather for their fourth album, Toto IV, released in 1982 (see 1982 in music). The song reached the top ten, peaking at #10 in the US.
The song was later sampled by house DJ Roger Sanchez in 2001 for his song Another Chance. It went on to be a worldwide smash hit, and went to #1 in the UK singles chart.
