"They scream and are loud but are soft at the same time." --Can somebody clarify what this means?

The band were never loud/soft at the same time, Their songs are characterized by mellow half sung/half spoken vocals and gentler guitar playing followed by sudden bursts of chaos...it almost sounds improvised, which is what makes them so great. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.119.226.143 (talk) 09:46, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
