I Don't Care (Elton John song)
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I Don't Care is a song by Elton John with lyrics by Gary Osborne. It is the third track on his 1978 album, A Single Man. Lyrically it tells the story of a man who don't care about various things, just as long as he gets love from the woman he want. Musically, the song is very fast. It uses classic blues chords, but also uses a lot of backing vocal and orchestration. Percussion, both bongos and congas, are also used. A phaser-effect is also used on the guitar. The song is like another John song, This Town, a fan favourite but is by most considered an 'album-filler'.
