I Am A Rock and New Jersey are two songs on Red House Painters' third full-length album Red House Painters. The songs were never released as a full single, only as a promotional CD single in 1993. "I Am A Rock" is a cover of a Simon and Garfunkel song (see: I Am a Rock). "New Jersey" is an original RHP song. It first appeared on their album Red House Painters I as an acoustic track. On the Red House Painters II album, it's a sprawling, electric-guitar-driven song.
