Certainly helped me find out more about this song. Why delete it? Does what it says on the tin.

[edit] Lyrics after a screwup

Hi there.

I included the lyrics in the article but screwed up with the tags. Now it's in plain text but I have no clue what to use to format them properly. --eduo 19:00, 15 May 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Madtv?

I'm pretty sure I saw this song on TV before MadTV existed. In fact my brother had it on tape before it was on Madtv. I think it was on a Comedy Central show called A-List back in the early 1990s. By 1999 I was in my 20s and I know I first heard it before then on TV. Sadly I don't know where the tape is, not sure I could cite it either, and it's hard to find any information on "The A-List" online.--T. Anthony 01:13, 9 June 2007 (UTC)

I was going to write nearly the same thing. This song was all over Comedy Central (not only "The A-List", but also all of their short clip shows like "Short Attention Span Theater" which reran their "A-List" performance) for years before the MADtv appearance. Sadly, I can't find any info on it either. Could we maybe change the wording to call the MADtv the "network television" debut? Becuase it isn't the first TV appearance of this song. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.238.129.163 (talk) 15:15, 7 February 2008 (UTC)
