i2 is a supply chain optimization company in Dallas, Texas, U.S.A. It was founded in 1988 by Sanjiv Sidhu and Ken Sharma to apply technology and best practices to eliminating inefficiencies in business. i2 has more than 900 customers, and 500 deployments in the last year alone.

i2's software helps companies deal with the variability in managing supply and demand. Their method combines integrated planning and execution to allow customers to integrate disparate planning systems with workflow management systems to optimize their businesses performance in real time. Products are designed around five optimizations – Revenue and Profit Optimization, Spend Optimization, Production Optimization, Fulfillment Optimization and Logistics Optimization.
i2's particular interests are Supplier Relationship Management, Supply Chain Management, Demand Chain Management, Service Parts Management and Transportation.

In 2004, i2 paid a $10 million penalty to the Securities and Exchange Commission, and agreed to a cease-and-desist order, to settle charges that it had misstated $1 billion in software licensing revenues.
