Hywel Gwynfryn

Hywel Gwynfryn (born 13 July 1942 in Llangefni, Anglesey) is a Welsh TV[1] and Radio[2] personality, and lyricist.[1] He was educated at Ysgol Gyfun Llangefni and the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama.

From 1968, Gwyfryn fronted Helo Sut Da Chi?, the first Welsh language pop programme. He has been with the Welsh language radio station Radio Cymru since its inception, presenting shows such as Helo Bobol and Hywel a Nia.[3]
