The Hyundai Veloster is a 2+2 three-door, glass-roofed hatchback concept car, recently unveiled by Hyundai at the Seoul Motor Show. It is the third in a series of cars made by the company at its Design and Technical Centre in Namyang, Korea.
The Veloster is powered by a 2.0 litre DOHC four-cylinder engine with a five-speed automatic transmission. Its name is a combination of the words "velocity" and "roadster".[citation needed]
