Talk:Hypertherm Plasma Cutting

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

just a small bit of editing in the last section might help this article.

A few things that in my opinion should be removed/changed to archieve a neutral POV:

  • .. the world’s most advanced metal cutting systems.. (Remove?)
  • .. Hypertherm systems are trusted for fast, precision cutting and reliability that results in increased productivity and profitability for tens of thousands of businesses .. (Maybe some public buiseness results, tolerances / precision archieved by various tools could be listed?)
  • The company, consistently named one of the best places to work in America, .. (Remove?)
  • Richard Couch, and an associate made the greatest breakthrough since the initial discovery of plasma cutting fourteen years earlier .. (replace the greatest with "a"?)
  • capable of cutting metal with a speed and accuracy never before seen .. (replace with " .. with better accurancy"?)
  • .. two issues that had plagued the industry from the start—the accumulation of dross and a phenomenon called double-arcing—were virtually eliminated .. (replace with "reduced the dross" and an explenation of double-arcing - or a link to a seperate article would be in place?)
  • Hypertherm’s new water injection technique introduced another first to the industry. Instead of relying on several different types of gas for cutting, the Hypertherm system relied on only one: nitrogen. This single gas requirement made plasma cutting more economical and easier to use since customers no longer had to purchase and stock several different types of gas. (This is not true, Hypertherm was, and still is, using multiple types of gas depending on the system used. So remove I guess?)
  • The section: "Plasma Process Patented" should be reviewed. Even just mentioning Hypertherm has patented some things mentioned in the article could do for now.

Conclusion: This artlicle still needs some work Devaes (talk) 07:58, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
