Hyperdrive (storage)

HyperDrive (HD) is a series of RAM disks manufactured by HyperOs Systems. Four revisions in this series exist to date. The HyperDrive interfaces with and is recognized by computer systems as a standard hard drive.
The Hyperdrive currently only supports SATA 1 and PATA speeds. Faster transfer rates are possible by using RAID arrays. Attorn has stated that the next version may support SATA 2 with 3.0Gbit/s speeds.
