Hyperspace is an instant-on operating system that is being developed by Phoenix Technologies.^[1]

The operating system will be read-only memory based and as such may only apply to motherboards which have this operating system embedded.

It will, allow users to use a web browser, word processor, and many other aplications while you wait for the operating system to boot. It can also be used to avoid the security problems associated with using the Windows operating system.
