Hylomys megalotis |
Hylomys is a genus of the family Erinaceidae. Hylomys species, like all species in the subfamily Galericinae are known as gymnures or moonrats. Their closest relatives, all fossils, include Lantanotherium and Thaiagymnurus.
The genus is distributed across eastern Asia.
