my name is aslam, i stay in mummbai.

my roots goes back to nizam state dist osmanabad,now in maharashtra.

i think this hyderbadi urdu page should come under dakhani page.

what ever example given in the page ..is common for many places in maharashtra karanatak andhra.

The language used in the page is not specific to hyderabad e.g kayku is said in the same fashion gulbarga,bidar in karnatak or latur ,satara, ahmednagar in maharashtra.

so i think this page must go under dakhani page.

Hi my name is Farooq Its my suggestion that the root and origin of the word should also be mentioned. Like some words are Persian/Arabic origin (Mauz=Kela Tarkari=Sabzi Navad=navve 90) which are not used in North Indian Urdu, some are marathi origin such as Nakko, and some are Telugu and Kannada orgin such as Banda (Paththar/Stone) and some are variation of standard urdu such as Kaiku=Kahe Ko (Literary word used in poetry for Kyun/why). The interistin part of Dekhani urdu is its vocabulary is derived much from persian and arabic where as north indian urdu from hindi. I agree with Mr Aslam that Hyderabadi Urdu is no different than Dakhni Urdu spoken in different parts of Deccan such as Karnataka, Tamilnadu, parts of Maharashtra and coastal Andhra.
