HydroGeoSphere is "a 3D model for simulating flow and contaminant transport in integrated surface-subsurface flow systems".[1] It is based on FRAC3DVS and is a finite element model.
[edit] Features
Some features include:
- 2D overland flow
- 2D stream network flow
- 3D variably-saturated flow
- 3D flow in fractures and conduits
- Advection/dispersion modeling
- Reactions
- Density dependent flow
