Hyderabad Aero Club

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hyderabad Aero Club was part of the erstwhile Hyderabad State, India during the reign of The VII Nizam, Mir Osman Ali Khan. Its history dates back to the early 1930s, when the Hyderabad Aero Club was formed and it became the airfield for Nizam of Hyderabad's aircraft.

The second airport was further built with the provision of a proper airport terminal building in 1937, after realising the need for a full-fledged airport for Hyderabad.
