This page has been created from elements of golf club (equipment), based on a suggestion that that article was too long. The process of moving this information is not complete, and this page will require cleanup before it meets WP's standards. In particular, this page needs footnotes and references, as well as a history of hybrids. Also, in the process we have lost images from the source page that we will need to find replacements for. Images highlighting specific points made in the text are welcome. In particular, comparative shots of a "full hybrid" and an "iron replacement" hybrid are welcome, as well as images comparing a hybrid with its comparable wood and iron.
