[edit] Duplicate images uploaded

Thanks for uploading Image:Pouian.jpg. A machine-controlled robot account noticed that you also uploaded the same image under the name Image:Pouian.JPG. The copy called Image:Pouian.JPG has been marked for speedy deletion since it is redundant. If this sounds okay to you, there is no need for you to take any action.

This is an automated message- you have not upset or annoyed anyone, and you do not need to respond. In the future, you may save yourself some confusion if you supply a meaningful file name and refer to 'my contributions' to remind yourself exactly which name you chose (file names are case sensitive, including the extension) so that you won't lose track of your uploads. For tips on good file naming, see Wikipedia's image use policy. If you have any questions about this notice, or feel that the deletion is inappropriate, please contact User:Staecker, who operates the robot account. Staeckerbot 08:30, 21 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Image tagging for Image:Pezhman.gif

Thanks for uploading Image:Pezhman.gif. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

[edit] Copyrights

Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia. We appreciate your contributions to the Image:49.jpg article, but for legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted.

You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences. This part is crucial: say it in your own words.

If the external website belongs to you, and you want to allow Wikipedia to use the text — which means allowing other people to modify it — then you must include on the external site the statement "I, (name), am the author of this article, (article name), and I release its content under the terms of the GNU Free Documentation License, Version 1.2 and later."

You might want to look at Wikipedia's policies and guidelines for more details, or ask a question here. You can also leave a message on my talk page. delldot talk 16:52, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

Hi again, the images you have uploaded have been deleted because they were copyrighted. Could you tell me where you got Image:Pouian.jpg? If you don't hold the copyright to that, it will have to be deleted too. Please do be sure that from now on you only upload pictures you took or that are not copyrighted (which is most stuff). Thanks, and sorry for the hassle. delldot talk 17:04, 23 September 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Orphaned non-free media (Image:Pouian.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Pouian.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 14:16, 24 September 2007 (UTC)
