Hussain Mansoor

Hussain Mansoor, alias Hussain Bux, is generally known as Hussain Mansoor. He was born May 4,1980 and is one of the more well known journalists and writers of the city of Karachi. He is the Editor of Taleem Namah, a magazine which focuses on education issues. He is also a regular contributor to Sindhi news Journal AFFAIR Magazine on political, social issues.

Hussain Mansoor was born on May 4, 1980 in Chhapar Khan Gadehi, a small village of Dadu, district of Sindh, to Sindhi Muslim speaking parents. After leaving college in his native town Khairpur Nathan Shah in 1997, he emigrated to Hyderabad Sindh to continue his studies. He graduated from the University of Sindh with a degree in Mass Communication. He began work part time as a journalist for Sindhi newspaper Daily "Pak" as a sub-editor.

Hussain Mansoor began his career in journalism in 1997 when he had left for Hyderabad, Sindh. He began work at Daily "PAK" Karachi as a sub-editor for a year and a half. Then he joined another daily newspaper, "Tameer-e-Sindh" as a sub-editor. Next, he became a news-editor in daily "Sindh" Hyderabad, Sindh. After two years he left for Daily Kawish Hyderabad, Sindh where he was appointed a sub-editor. Finally he left for Karachi, where he was appointed as an Assistant Editor to the largest circulating Sindhi news journal AFFAIR Magazine. He was also related to the global researching organization, "Global Development Network."

Hussain Mansoor, had contributed in daily "Kawish" as a Columnist and his first article was about the fall of communism in South Asia and Pakistan. Then he wrote to many articles and columns for Daily Kawish which were mostly about the World Trade Organisation, and Disasters of the economic globalisation, national political issues. After, resigning from Daily "Kawish", Hussain Mansoor joined Fortnightly Sindhi news magazine "Affair" where he was appointed as Assistant Editor, where he contributed for at about one year. Hussain Mansoor was also assigned for Pakistan’s most influential news magazine, "Herald Magazine," but he never reported there.
