Imam Husayn on seventh Moharram 61 Hijri announced in front of everyone that "Abbas is the just right Commander of my army. No one would be better commanding religion like Abbas and no flag bearer would be like Abbas ever".
On the top of the flag is a hand representing Abbas hand. Four Fingers & a thumb represents the Panjeetan or five pure ones.
