The impact section is basically a collection of stubs. The intro mentions nothing of impact. Jdorje 21:02, 11 January 2006 (UTC)
- It has been significantly improved. I think I've done all I can with internet sources. Thegreatdr (talk) 06:04, 25 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] GAC consideration
It looks good. GAC it if you want. Juliancolton (talk) 21:27, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
- Already have two articles I've been working on that are nominated as good articles right now, effects of tropical cyclones and tropical cyclone forecasting. The GAC for this article will have to wait for one of those articles to clearly pass or fail. Past experience has taught me that two articles under review at a time is my upper limit. - It has been GACed. Thegreatdr (talk) 22:00, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

I am glad to report that this article nomination for good article status has been promoted. This is how the article, as of January 4, 2008, compares against the six good article criteria:

I have made about 13 subsequent edits since my first visit here, all minor—with most being done to grammar, use of ndash, conversion templates and the dablink towards the top which I shortened. Most of these edits were to keep the article consisent. A very good job, and I am willing to pass this article. Well done. If you feel that this review is in error, feel free to take it to Good article reassessment. Thank you to all of the editors who worked hard to bring it to this status, and congratulations.
