Solid article. All that's really needed is a better intro. Jdorje 21:52, 11 January 2006 (UTC)

Hmm, well, with all the high-quality articles we're getting now, this one is pretty lacking by comparison. But it might be too old to find good info. — jdorje (talk) 20:01, 5 February 2006 (UTC)
I added more info and upped this to B-Class. Storm05 17:12, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
Ehh, could you give it a good copyedit first? I dropped it to start temporarily, but it shouldn't take much to bring it back up. Hurricanehink (talk) 23:13, 21 June 2006 (UTC)
You know what, close enough. Just be sure to copyedit it. Hurricanehink (talk) 17:42, 23 June 2006 (UTC)

[edit] GA on hold

This article will be put on hold (for 7 days) until these minor adjustments can be made :

1. Well written? Pass
2. Factually accurate? Pass
3. Broad in coverage? Pass
4. Neutral point of view? Pass
5. Article stability? Pass
6. Images? Pass

Additional comments :

  • Is it possible to have a damage figure according to 1957, if possible. It would be more accurate for that time and would be better for the article.
  • 'Hurricane Audrey left $1 billion dollars to deposit where? sorry for being sarcastic. ;)

Minor changes made. Inflation calculator was used to get the 1957 figure. CrazyC83 21:02, 15 October 2006 (UTC)
Thanks for such an addition, it gives a more accurate example of that day's amounts. Lincher 01:17, 16 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Tornado outbreak

Here's a website describing the tornadoes from Audrey in Alabama (in a list of June tornadoes). It has some good stats that should be added. Hurricanehink (talk) 23:37, 20 October 2006 (UTC)

[edit] GA Sweeps Review: Pass

As part of the WikiProject Good Articles, we're doing sweeps to go over all of the current GAs and see if they still meet the GA criteria. I'm specifically going over all of the "Meteorology and atmospheric sciences" articles. I believe the article currently meets the criteria and should remain listed as a Good article. I have made several minor corrections throughout the article. Altogether the article is well-written and is still in great shape after its passing in 2006. Continue to improve the article making sure all new information is properly sourced and neutral. It would be beneficial to go through the article and update all of the access dates of the inline citations and fix any dead links. If you have any questions, let me know on my talk page and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. I have updated the article history to reflect this review. Happy editing! --Nehrams2020 (talk) 07:33, 19 March 2008 (UTC)
