Description

en:Hurricane Emily (2005), as seen by the US en:National Weather Service's en:NEXRAD in en:Brownsville, Texas at 10:07 CDT en:July 19 (0307 UTC en:July 20). The storm's eye is clearly visible, surrounded by the strong storms of the en:eyewall. At imaging time, Emily was a Category 3 storm with 125 mph (205 km) winds, was moving west-northwest at 7 mph (11 km/h), and was roughly 100 miles (160 km) away from the expected landfall location.
