Hurt So Good is the third single released from former Bronski Beat singer Jimmy Somerville's 1995 release The Singles Collection, preceded by "Heartbeat", which peaked at #24 in January. "Hurt So Good" did better, reaching #15 on the UK singles chart in May. It was followed by the low-charting(#41) song "By Your Side", which was also the last single from the album.
