Hurricane Mesa Test Facility is owned and operated by Aircraft Interior Products Propulsion Systems. It is the United States's only privately-owned supersonic test track.[1]

The test facility is located north of Highway 9 between La Verkin, Utah and Zions National Park.

A tall chain link fence posted with "no trespassing" signs and some closed circuit cameras secure the northeast corner of the facility while the sheer cliff face of the mesa secures the rest.

The facility has several prominent features visible from Highway 9: Two chess-pawn shaped water/camera towers spaced about a mile apart and a trailer projecting about 10 feet over the edge of the south face of the mesa.
