Huntington University is a federated university of Laurentian University in Greater Sudbury, Ontario, Canada. Affiliated with the United Church of Canada and named after the pioneer Methodist missionary, Silas Huntington, the university specializes in arts and humanities programs, including communication studies, ethics, gerontology, religious studies and theology. The university is governed by a Board of Regents chaired by Mr. Jim Young. The president is Dr. Kevin McCormick.

Located within Huntington University is the J. W. Tate Library. The J. W. Tate Library features a specialized collection of books, videos, fine arts slides, and print and electronic journal and reference subscriptions. The library features in total a collection of about 25,000 items, an assortment of listening and viewing equipment, and four public terminals that connect to the Internet. Wireless Internet access is available in the Library's Reading Room.

The Huntington University Residence provides co-ed accommodation for 167 students in a mix of 73 double rooms and 21 single rooms. All of the rooms are wired for free broadband Internet access and available Bell phone lines. There are also four kitchens, four common rooms, two exercise rooms with weight machines and treadmills, and a student-run social centre with a licenced bar.
The Huntington University Residence is staffed by a Residence Supervisor along with four proctors (upper year students). The Dean of Residence is Phil Parker, who also is the Laurentian University swim coach.
