HungryMan TV

HungryMan TV is an online content network owned and operated by HungryMan, a content production studio which has produced television advertising spots for brands including American Express, Burger King, GoDaddy.com, and Sierra Mist. The production house is best known for creating ESPN's "This is SportsCenter" campaign.[1]

HungryMan is based in New York city and was founded in 1997. Founded by directors Bryan Buckley and Hank Pearlman and executive producer Stephen Orent, it maintains offices in Los Angeles, Vancouver, London, and Rio de Janero. Buckley is a three-time DGA Award nominee in the commercials category. He won the DGA honor as best commercial director in 1999.[2] The web division, HungryMan TV, scripts, casts, shoots, and edits all content in-house.

The first Flash-based web videos, Undercover Cheerleaders and Phistophicles aired in June of 2007.[2]New episodes are scheduled to appear on a semi-monthly basis. Currently only directors under HungryMan's commercial stable are producing content for the channel.[3]

Directors who have contributed to the HungryMan TV project include: Bennett Miller (Capote), Allen Coulter (The Sopranos, Six Feet Under), and Marcos Siega (Chaos Theory).[4]
