User talk:Human individual
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The text you're adding really isn't adding to the article. One problem is that additions to Wikipedia must be verifiable, which means they must be cited to a reliable source. Effectively, your addition attempts to "define" one side of the debate as being incorrect. The article says that there is a debate about whether humans are necessarily people, and cites sources who have made that point. You say that, according to the dictionary, human beings are people - but the dictionary does not say that abortion is wrong. A dictionary definition cannot be used to prove a moral philosophical position. It does not make the logical connection that your post would need it to make. Please read Wikipedia:Synthesis to learn more about this problem. SHEFFIELDSTEELTALK 02:51, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
