[edit] Charles Horn
There seems to be an ongoing revert war surrounding the paragraph for staffmember Charles Horn. This is silly. Could we please discuss this here and attempt to work out a set of fair criteria for notability and inclusion in this article instead of simply fading him in and out of existence at will? -Clueless (talk) 00:53, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
- I made a change that reflects legacy without the axe to grind. Including the statement, "fired without notice," is the cause of all the ire. Can we leave it stand in some version of the current form as of April 3, 2008? Norcalal 05:03, 3 April 2008 (UTC)
- Additionally, I do not dispute that there may have been some unfortunate politics in the matter, but and encyclopedic reference is no place to play that out. Norcalal 16:21, 4 April 2008 (UTC)
[edit] Still a problem
This is continuing to be an issue. It seems that the offending edits are coming from a single IP address. That anonymous editor was notified of this discussion a few weeks ago but has so far chosen not to participate. Does Wikipedia have administrative/mediative procedures in place we can pursue so this doesn't keep happening? -Clueless (talk) 16:00, 30 April 2008 (UTC)
- The fact that the editor in question has no account is telling. There is no way to get a "number" (IP address) this persistent in its bitterness and anger and disrespect for the community and this article to participate in a mature resolution. Perhaps, if this is the person who was let go for some reason, we now have an idea as to why. Norcalal 05:03, 2 May 2008 (UTC)
