Human's Lib is Howard Jones's first album, released in 1984. The album made number 1 on the UK Album Charts.
Four songs from this album were released as singles in the UK: "New Song", "What Is Love", "Hide And Seek" and "Pearl In The Shell". "New Song" and "What Is Love" also made it to the Billboard charts in the US.
"New Song" and "What Is Love" were featured in the soundtrack to the action movie Supergirl.
"Equality" was released as a single in South Africa, as a commentary about the policy of apartheid there at the time.
"China Dance", an instrumental, is included on the CD release as a bonus track.
