Request help unprotecting.
I would like to contribute to this page references & external links & text. I am registered & logged in. I read the instructions for requesting unprotection, but I do not find this page listed on any of the lists, so I am stuck. Thanks in advance!
- Hi, HughD, and welcome to Wikipedia. The page you want to edit was protected because there was an edit war on the page. If you want it to be unprotected, you can add a request at Wikipedia:Requests_for_page_protection#Current_requests_for_unprotection. If you only have a few things to add, you can also put them on the article's talk page, with {{Editprotected}} just before, and an administrator can add them to the page. Let me know if you have further questions, either here or on my talk page. —PurpleRAIN 17:33, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

- Hi, please don't remove sources from articles. If you know of better ones, add them in.--Docg 00:32, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
Please stop. If you continue to vandalize pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Docg 00:48, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Three-revert rule
Please refrain from undoing other people's edits repeatedly. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. Rather than reverting, discuss disputed changes on the talk page. The revision you want is not going to be implemented by edit warring. Thank you. --BigDT 01:22, 7 January 2007 (UTC)

I'd talk to the unprotecting/"unlocking" admin Royalguard11 if you wish to request page protection. Better yet, you could take it to WP:RPP. If you have any questions, please contact me at my talk page. Ian Manka 09:00, 7 January 2007 (UTC)
