Hugo Salinas (born in Mexico). Currently President of Grupo Elektra (mexican financial and retail corporation owned by Grupo Salinas).
Mr. Salinas holds degrees from Wharton School from University of Pennsylvania and the Instituto Tecnológico y de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (ITESM) as well as a law degree from the Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico (UNAM).
Mr. Hugo Salinas is one of the most successful Mexican business men.

- Has served as Grupo Elektra's Honorary President since 1993.
- From 1952 to 1887, he was a Director of the company.
- He is now President of the Asociación Cívica Mexicana Pro-Plata A.C., which he founded in 1997.
